Quoise frames are made entirely of ECONYL®, a regenerated nylon from waste
that would otherwise pollute our Earth.
We recycle as much as possible and have minimized production waste.
Sunglasses made in acetate produce an average waste of 100/150 grams of plastic per eyewear, but here at Quoise we can minimize it at just 5 grams that go back to the production system.
At Quoise we have decided to partner with brands and associations that share our vision for a cleaner ocean. Here is the process for producing ECONYL® regenerated nylon:
RESCUE. We use waste that would otherwise be polluting the Earth such as fishing nets, fabric scraps, carpet flooring and industrial plastic from all over the world. That waste is then sorted and cleaned.
REGENERATE. Through a radical regeneration and purification process, the nylon waste is recycled right back to its original purity.
REMAKE. The nylon is now ready for its second life as sunglasses frames.
DESIGN. We craft a unique design that keeps the recycling circle active, as the discarded Quoise glasses can be recycled again, and again, and again…
Even how our sunglasses are protected is sustainable, because we want to do it all right from A to Z. Our case is made from recycled PET and is recyclable too, as our cardboard packaging.
